Dude I was there too and the people and staff and whole scene outside was awesome but that was one f'ed up show inside I thought. We all called it the brown acid show. So many freak outs and the band trying to get there but not quite making it till the end. Even for what I would have called a low show the lack of venue hassle during the the whole thing still made it a really good time.
BTW the Knockin does! rock at this show.

That makes perfect sense. When I say my buddy remembered space, you shoulda seen his eyes talking about it....This was July I talked to him about it, which makes it 25 years since. Dude acted like it still freaked him out kinda just talking about it. This aint no rookie either, he started touring in the early 80's before my day. He obviously lost his marbles that night, and many of us have been there.

Im guessing it might have been an actual double dipper or soakers. At least 100-150 mic's. Shit that heavy can spook even the most seasoned travelers. Too much Too fast.
